High Tailin’ it

There is an ease to wearing all black. It’s just convenient, chic and usually my go to. Although I am anal about wearing items more than once, honestly, I envy people who can wear items more than 3 times a month, having a mostly black wardrobe makes my outfit picking in the morning less of a struggle.

My go to in fashion and styling is usually accessories. They can be so versatile. Belt a shift dress, double up on statement necklaces, or wear two bold pieces like a snake print clutch and ghillie style lace up booties like mine below.

I like taking two similar color pieces and making them into one. I took a off the shoulder crop top and mixed with a high waisted skirt to appear as a dress. What I look for when I’m shopping is pieces like these where I can wear the item in multiple different ways. It’s hard to pin point what my personal style is,… Sometimes I’ll be uber girly, other days grunge and the next super business professional. But life is short, dress however you want! I’m basically a 6 year old girl at heart playing a game of daily dress up. But what I like to keep in mind is buying versatile pieces to pair in different ways.
What’s your style philosophy?

Riva.

PS. Did I mention my entire outfit is less than $50?! ?
