My Holiday Advice

The holidays can be hard for a lot of people. You are reminded of people you have lost or of not so fond memories of years past. I sometimes get the feeling that holidays come with expectations.

A dear friend of mine is fighting thyroid cancer. I went to go visit her earlier this week and her positivity and words have stuck with me all week. She explained this whole situation as an opportunity to reflect on her life and how somethings are more important than others. We should all take a minute daily to be thankful for what we have and to forget the petty stuff. Life isn’t about material things, it’s the company you hold and how you treat others. Now I know guys, my blog is about fashion and material things, but I really try to put in my positive ideas too. 😀 Don’t think about presents this year, be present in your life!

So, to anyone reading this, I am thankful for your time and interest! Merry Christmas!

This beautiful sweater is from a local boutique called Hyde Park. I saw a model wearing this and the matching skirt at her fashion show earlier this year and needed both. You can shop Sydney’s pieces online here!

Fringe earrings have been all the rage. I loved these because they seem to Grandma chic!

As you have probably seen, I wear these shoes a lot! You really cannot go wrong with a pop of color and not so high heel (Grandma Ex Dancer feet here!). This brand is the best for comfort and style! The exact shoe is linked below and on mega sale!
