Ruffles & Puffs

Last weekend was a blast! I visited my sister-in-law in Colorado for her 30th birthday. We spent a day in Denver, went to one too many breweries, and then traveled up to Copper Mountain to ski.

The mountains were INSANE! So beautiful. Here in Wisconsin we see a few drumlins and small hills, but the mountains in Colorado honestly look like a billboard or as if I am looking at a green screen. We rented this adorable cabin that slept 12 and had views of the largest ski run on the mountain. I attempted to ski for the first time and was able to get down one hill, wahoo! #SmallVictory Although it’s winter, the weather in Colorado it was a bit of a surprise. I was able to wear a light sweater and moto jacket and be completely comfortable!

Living here in Wisconsin, you cannot have enough sweaters. Basic ones, comfy ones, and like the one I have featured below, statement sweaters! One day it could be negative 10 and others it could feel like a Summer day at 35 degrees.

I found this puppy on Black Friday and have worn it a handful of times! Which for me, is shocking. I usually only wear items once or twice. I paired it with a fun, puffy hat I got last year on whim.

Very cute sweater. I have one very similar and have worn it quite often as well. I’m from Texas so it made me laugh to read that you consider 35 degrees summer weather. lol! It has been 80’s here… in January :/ You look great!
