Hey babes! I have some excited news!
My husband and I are buying a house! We put in an offer, have had a few inspections, but I won’t tell you anymore because I don’t want to jinx it and Michael and I seriously have the worst luck in life. But hey that’s why we belong together right?
I have already been on Pinterest for countless hours deciding on a kitchen remodel and what floors we should have upstairs. I’m sure the process will take a long time with blood, sweat and tears… maybe just the tears from me and the rest for Michael, who will be manning the project 🙂 I am truly grateful to have a husband who is so disgustingly handy. Our current house was a horrible, nasty foreclosure which we changed into the beautiful place we call home now.
Last night we went to look at new appliances, we are #adulting for real! It’s interesting the things you never thought about until you own a home.

Well I don’t know about all of you, but we have had the weirdest Winter weather lately here in Wisconsin. Last week it was in the 70’s, yes, you read that correctly! I find you can never really be prepared on what you should wear. I usually wear tights around this time of year so I don’t freeze, but am able to wear a cute skirt.
This skirt in particular is vintage, I found it at my favorite thrift store. It’s 100% wool and is warm! They just don’t make clothes like they used to!
Both of my necklaces are vintage. I bought one at a flea market and then other at the thrift store. I find you can never have too many chunky gold necklaces.

Congratulations on buying a house, that’s so exciting! The weather has been strange here in Boston, as well (it was 65 this weekend)! At least it’s warm enough to wear items like that adorable skirt you have on!
