Happy Friday! Does anyone else feel like the week after a holiday is the lonngggessttt!? But hey, we made it! Now go get yourself a doughnut because its National Doughnut Day!
I spent the holiday weekend in SinCity with my Husband for our anniversary. I know, weird place to go for an anniversary trip, but we aren’t really normal, ha! Michael had never been and wanted to see what all the hype is about. I wanted to get some nice weather, be able to walk the strip sipping prosecco and shop at the luxury stores, we both left happy!
Ahhh vacation! Wahoo! We stayed at the Flamingo hotel, I had to purchase this adorable flamingo cup from TJ Maxx for my journey! I visited the flamingos every day, they are so cute! The hotel had a bunch of different animals in their pool area too.
A little tip for any visitors, the ‘Welcome’ sign is at the farrrrr end of the strip. If you are planning on going, get dropped off and wear your walking shoes to get you back to the hustle and bustle! Luckily Michael and I were happy to walk and enjoyed the warm weather!
We had awesome strip views from our room!
We visited the Neon Museum which is only a ten minute drive off the strip. It is a non profit that shows off the beautiful vintage neon signs from the old and new strips. I highly recommend doing this tour! They also offer it at night too where a couple signs have been refurbished and are lit to their original sparkle!
We also visited the Seven Magic Mountains about 30 minutes off the strip. They are stacked boulders that reach 30 feet tall! After linking the site, I read they are only going to be onsite for another year! It was a fun excursion!
We stumbled upon this super cute retro casino called Gold Strike. We had to go in for a drink and a spin of the slot machine! They had all of these famous vintage movie cars displayed including vehicles from Grease, the original Batman and Fast & Furious! Michael was obviously stoked.
We went to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris. We had amazing views of the Bellagio water show and the strip!
Michael’s sweet Aunt sent us this to our room for our anniversary!
My first Chanel purchase!
My model husband.
Also, I still have no idea how I was able to convince him to wear this pineapple shirt.
My first In-N-Out burger! So good!
If this photo wasn’t worth $2.00, I don’t know what is. This dress is from ASOS and this is the only photo I took that night!
Calvin Harris at Omnia! You can see him on the left!
Shouldn’t all blog posts end with a selfie!?
Do you have any exciting trips coming up?
