Bon-Ton Goodwill Sale

A good department store sale is the best. But when the sale is not only a great one but aids a charitable foundation, you really cannot go wrong. I teamed up with Goodwill Industries Inc. to showcase their biannual sale at Boston Store and the Bon-Ton family stores!

The Goodwill Sale is running now until September 30th. Getting the coupons is super easy, all you do is bring in a donation for Goodwill to your local Bon-Ton store (mine is Boston Store). For each item you donate, you will receive a coupon for up to an extra 30% off a clothing, footwear, handbag or accessory item. Don’t worry, if you don’t have any items to donate at this time, you can donate just $1 and receive a coupon.

When you’re shopping around, you will notice that a lot of items are marked down so you can buy items for almost 50% and stock up! It’s a great opportunity to add new pieces to your wardrobe, not to mention stock up some gifts for the holidays!

Yes, this is my air shot and yes, I almost missed! This one bag of clothes created one hour of on-the-job training for someone that needs employment assistance through Goodwill. How cool do I feel?

*Not seen in this photo* The other two large bags I brought in with clothes to donate! Now that was not as graceful of an air shot as this one, ha!

One of the added perks of donating my clothes to Goodwill was seeing how many organizations participate in this event. These two gentlemen actually work for Manpower. They are donating their time as part of their Employee Giving Campaign through United Way.

Yes, you get 15% off cosmetics and fragrance. In addition to the sale, quite a few brands do a gift with purchase! I usually stock up during the sale on my favorite items and use it as a chance to try new products!

The instant I saw this jacket, I knew I needed it. I am a huge floral print fan (you’ve probably noticed by now) and love the moto style of this jacket. I have a few jackets of the same brand and they are all great quality and very warm!

The jeans are William Rast, which if you are not aware of the brand, was founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala. If wearing jeans designed by your favorite childhood boy band member doesn’t make you feel good, I don’t know what does.

Well ladies, we all know anything embroidered is on trend. I love the ultra feminine but edgy feel of these jeans. I find that the embroidered style is so easy to wear because it is the focal point of any outfit. I loved mixing the textures on this outfit with this fun blouse by Max Studio Edit.

So, if you are looking to find some new fall/winter items or stock up on summer items at a major discount, check out the Goodwill Sale at your local Bon-Ton store until Saturday, September 30th! Company-wide, Bon-Ton is looking to collect more than two million pounds of donations. That would create approx. 275,000 hours of job training services that would benefit Goodwill’s job placement and training programs. Amazing, right!?

If you have any questions on the sale, I would be happy to help! Stay posted to see what other items I purchase during the sale, because let’s be real, with this amount of savings, I’m not only visiting the store once!

  1. I love the idea of shopping at a second hand store. I’ll admit that sometimes I’m too rushed (mom of 2), so I end up running to the local mall for our clothing (or shop online). That jacket is beautiful and you make it look amazing!

    1. I always have at least one huge bag of donation items in my trunk at all times! There are SO many good things at Boston Store right now, maybe not at Mayfair since I bought it all πŸ˜‰ Thanks for reading Jenn!
