Fall Florals

Happy Hump Day!!

I had an amazing past weekend! I started the day with our counter tops being installed as part of our kitchen demo! We chose a beautiful granite stone from Brazil called ‘river white’. It’s a stunning gray marble look with speckles of dark purple. I was very surprised when my husband didn’t say no to this. He has given me a lot of leeway on the kitchen choices for which I am very thankful … And impressed since I have no experience designing a kitchen!

I got some awesome blog news on Friday, which I will announce once I figure it out! Later in the day I drove to St. Paul, Minnesota, which is about a 5.5 hour drive for me from Milwaukee to visit some friends and to see Pit Bull & Enrique Iglesias in concert! I have decided I am quitting my job to become a backup dancer, what do you think?? The next day we did our usual Orange Theory Fitness class and headed to a friend’s house for a patio party. The next day I took the trek home, thank goodness for my book on tape! I’m listening to Steven King’s newest novel, Sleeping Beauties. Any one else read this yet?

Now about the outfit.

I found this dress at Forever 21 and was immediately attracted to the colors that were incorporated. The palm print was so fun and I love the pajama style dress. When there is an excuse to wear pjs out in public, take it!

I’m a stern believer that florals are okay in any season. It may depend on the print, but in Winter, a little reminder warmer weather is coming is always welcoming!

Do you have any specific print or pattern that you are always drawn to?
