Ruffles and Tassels

Well ladies, it’s official.

I will be headed to the big apple with my mom THIS WEEK. Super excited to be heading to New York City as I have not been there in probably 10 years. My sister used to live there with her now husband when he was in a Broadway show. My mom and I went to go visit them a couple times and I have not been back since high school. I’m looking forward to walking, shopping, and trying amazing restaurants and bars. We honestly have nothing planned but that. I will have to see Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment or maybe even have a yogurt on the steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Anything you recommend for a must see or do?

Riva.

This amazingly comfortable sweater is another piece from Shop Amara. I can’t get enough of the ruffle trend and I am so happy it moved into the colder seasons! The sweater is very warm and very soft, which was surprising for the structured look of it. Naturally it’s sold out, but they have a very similar style with striped and pearl details here. There is also this adorable one!

  1. Have fun in NYC! I’d highly recommend walking the high line, shopping in Greenwich Village and checking out the comedy cella (we saw Amy Schumer there before she was famous – it’s the perfect spot for up and coming comedians!).

  2. I just posted my Day 1 NYC re-cap on my blog. I found Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment, make sure you go to 66 Perry Street and not the address used in the actual show. I was so excited to find it. Have so much fun and if you need anymore tips just let me know!

  3. Andrea

Hey girl! It’s andrea, Erin’s friend at stellas. You NEED to have brunch at Balthazar and if you can get in, Prune. Both are a NYC requirement. 😘
