Mixing Designer and Bargain Fashion Pieces

Good morning!

One of the things that makes my style so different from many bloggers is my ability to mix low and high fashion pieces. I don’t care what anyone says, I will love Forever 21 until the day I die. I’m not quite sure when it is time to shop in the women’s department rather than the trendy or teen, but I don’t ever want to grow up! But at the same time, I love saving up and buying a timeless designer piece #treatyoself.

When I purchase designer pieces, they are usually accessories that I can pair with lots of different outfits and styles. About two years ago I splurged on the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM, I knew I would have it for forever, it’s such a classic piece and I still love it! The same can be said with my Chanel pearl brooch below that I purchased in Las Vegas last spring. I have been lusting for one for YEARS and finally was able to get one in store. I will be writing another blog post on my opinions on what you should buy luxury and what you should purchase bargain. I would love to hear what you guys think!

Do you do the same thing? And what is your ultimate dream designer purchase!?

  1. love the back detailing of your sweater! And love the way your jeans are ripped. 🙂

  2. OMG the open back with that belt?! I literally gasped I love it so much!

  3. I’m a firm believer of mixing designer with more low budget pieces- basically that is how I dress every day! For instance, I will never compromise on my denim- so I’m the girl rocking a pair of $200 jeans with a top from Forever21.

    1. Denim is very important to me too! I love Hudson and Paige, it’s so hard to find a good fit otherwise! Thanks for reading Jen 🙂

    1. Awesome!! It’s just so much easier!! Thanks for reading Rebecca!!

  4. such a wonderful and colourfull outfit. I like this sweater that you wear and color is so impressive. In fashion, the color was important because colors are also trending. Thanks for sharing your life experience of fashion.
