The Pfister Hotel is a landmark in Milwaukee and I am so proud that we have such an amazing place to represent out city. I had the honor of sharing a girls night there with three of my favorite Milwaukee bloggers. We were wined, dined and pampered, and I have probably too many photos to share, but a photo really is worth a thousand words. The beautiful hotel was built in 1893 and has continued to be the ‘it’ hotel in Milwaukee.
Let me take you along on the two day #staycation we enjoyed… We arrived in style and a naturally had to document the stunning exterior of the hotel. The intricate facade has a very vintage, but inviting feel. I mean, even the flipping parking lot has curb appeal. Now, if you have been to the hotel, you know how indescribably beautiful the lobby is… Take a look at the photos below. In addition to the ornate painted ceiling, there are beautiful pieces of art mixed throughout the entire hotel.

Another interesting fact about The Pfister people may not know, is that they feature an Artist in Residence. An artist takes over a portion of the hotel as their studio for a year. It just so happens the artist now is my dear friend, Margaret Muza. She does tin-type photographs and has such an amazing spirit and eye. Take a look at her site here!

Though the hotel was been built in the late 1800’s, our room was updated and classic. We treated ourselves to room services and enjoyed the views for an in room happy hour.
After settling, we enjoyed an afternoon pool party! A perfect way to break up this depressing weather is to dip your toes and imagine you’re somewhere tropical. The pool is located on the 23rd floor with views of downtown Milwaukee and the beautiful Lake Michigan. What can I say, the whole space is an Instagramer’s heaven.
Obsessed with this shot of my friend Lauren!

Isn’t Fanny insanely beautiful!?!
After an afternoon at the pool, we headed back to our room to freshen up. But before our dinner plans, we stopped by the Club Lounge on the 23rd floor. Here you’ll find delicious complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a fully stocked bar.

Dinner at Mason Street Grill!
Any time anyone asks my favorite bar to go to on a fancy night out, Blu…a no brainer. You really can’t beat the views and the vibes are always luxe. However, if you are looking for a good drink after work, it’s a great stop too. I really can’t decide if the views are better during the day or at night… Heck, try both times and let me know your favorite!

The hidden treasure of the hotel is the Spa, well, the Well Spa to be exact. When you are in the lobby, you head downstairs and it is a beautiful relaxing oasis. Rumor has it the basement used to be a Turkish bath house… I may be starting a rumor here… Anyhoo, I got an hour massage and an hour facial, both were amazing, and I will be headed back soon! There is also a full service salon!
So, whether you are an out of towner looking to take a vacation to Milwaukee, or a local follower who wants a night out, consider The Pfister Hotel. It really does have it all and what’s even better, you don’t even have to leave the hotel for all of these amazing things to do!
