Movida, a Spanish tapas restaurant in Milwaukee.
The warmer weather has me craving outside patios and sangria. Where can I get both… Movida. I decided to capture a night out with my friendnographer, Gina. I am putting a twist on my next couple blog posts by not only featuring my outfit but showing where and what I actually do for fun! Why not feature a business I like in the process??
All the times I have visited Movida, I had a charcuterie plate. Eating cheese with wine has become a habit and boy, it’s hard to break! Today, we went with the chef’s choice and it did not disappoint. We tried two other plates and had a few glasses of their DELICIOUS white sangria! What I appreciate about Movida is they have quite a few vegetarian options.
A few other reasons I love Movida is their decor is so amazing, you’ll see in the great photos below! On Wednesdays they give the ladies their first glass of wine on the house and are always running amazing specials.
Now onto the clothes… I got this top from TJ Maxx for only $15! I couldn’t find it online so I linked some very cute similar tops below! I am digging gingham just like I was last summer, I’m glad it’s stuck around the fashion scene. I paired it with my favorite white denim that I already warned you were going to see too often and some fun cobalt shoes. Now the jewelry may be too much, but you know sometimes I am too. I bought a three pack of hoop earrings from Forever21 and bought this necklace vintage. To my pleasant surprise, after I brought the necklace home and was getting a better look at it, I noticed it was stamped… CHRISTIAN DIOR. The vintage gods were with me that visit.
These Leek Croquetas were outstanding! They consist of baby leeks, ricotta, roasted garlic and chive aioli, insert drooling emoji here!
Olives! Am I the only one who used to eat olives from the can? Here we have a mixed olive tapenade, shaved sarvecchio, with grilled bread.
