Brunch: The basic Wisconsin staple for a Summer Sunday
I decided to document one of my favorite brunch spots, Hotel Madrid. I love the restaurant for almost too many reasons; their food is delicious, staff is fabulous and the decor is Instagram worthy to say the least! They kicked off a new menu for summer and I was lucky enough to get to try it out on the first day it debuted to the public!
Enjoy all the photos below and I hope you have a chance to get over to Hotel Madrid very soon! I am running a giveaway for two tickets to their next event, the Summer Cookout. Check out my Facebook page on how to enter! Drop a comment below with your favorite brunch meal for an extra entry!

I have been wearing this jersey jumpsuit on the weekends. Can you tell I’m channeling my inner toreadora? It is very comfortable and very versatile! It really can be dressed down with sandals and jean jacket or up with heels and a clutch like I did below. The best part is it’s only $16!

Can anyone spot my favorite photographer in my shades??
Now, enough about me and the decor, let’s get talking about the food!!! We sampled quite a few different items. One of my favorites of the day was the fruity pebbles pancakes! They weren’t too sweet and had a little bit of a crunch! Their whipped cream was also sooo light and delicious! You can see the internal struggle of not eating them before Gina took the photo.
Next up, we have the brisket burger with ground double patty brisket, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, fried onion, served with house made chips. I mean there isn’t really much explanation needed on this one; look at the way the cheese is melted… I’m drooling!
Here is one of their favorite brunch items, the eggplant omelet with eggplant, red onion, manchego, arugula, and cava vinaigrette. It was light but very flavorful!
Now that you have seen the amazing inside, you will really enjoy the outside patio and green space!!
I hope you all enjoyed this post, I know I had a blast creating it! If you are local, check out Hotel Madrid and if you’re an out of towner, you’re welcome for making your research easy! Thanks, Hotel Madrid for hosting a beautiful brunch full of delicious food and Veuve Clicquot!

23 Jul 2018I just got back from a beer tour of Milwaukee a few weeks back. I stayed at Potawatomi Hotel and Casino. Didn’t hear about Hotel Madrid, but it looks and sounds cool- especially that bar!
