Riva in Chicago – Navy Pier

You may or may not know… I have a restaurant named after me in Chicago, Riva! Okay, it’s not named after me, but unless the owner is reading this… I will claim it is!

I have been to the restaurant right on Navy Pier before, but it’s honestly been about ten years… Wow, that makes me feel old! Michael and I went there when we were dating and wanted a trip out of town before he went to boot camp in Texas for three months. I remember them having a shirt that said, “Riva Has Crabs” and I was so annoyed. In hindsight, I definitely should have bought it!! How funny!

When I knew I would be going down to Chicago for the 29Room exhibit by Refinery 29 (blog post coming soon) and had my photographer at my disposal, I knew I had to make another visit to Riva. This time I had to put on the classiest dress-this SoHo Boutique ace number did the trick in my opinion. I paired it with a fun bag, 70’s sunglasses and classic black heels.

Have you been to Riva in Chicago?
