Often called a ‘hidden gem’, Milwaukee is pretty great and I will do all I can to spread the word! Known for beer, cheese, music festivals, and art, Milwaukee, Wisconsin is pretty great! As Milwaukee has been my Instagram playground for years, I wanted to share a few of my favorite places to snap a photo!
I know you have been eagerly waiting for this post, and believe me, I have been SO excited to share it with you! We have officially finished furnishing and decorating our loft space! A huge thank you goes out to Colder’s Furniture here in Milwaukee for helping my dreams come true. From the first visit to finishing touches, the whole team has been sensational to work with.(more…)
When Michael and I purchased our home, we knew it needed a lot of work and that decorating would take a backseat for a while. As we slowly completed projects like refurbishing the original hardwood floors, completely renovating the kitchen, and preparing the dining space for get-togethers, we are finally taking the home projects to our second level.(more…)
A worldwide pandemic. Something I never thought I would experience during my lifetime. As things escalated, my employer made the decision to have everyone work remotely. Whether you like to celebrate Galentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or don’t partake in either, take the month of February to share happiness with the individuals you love and cherish. Giving gifts is one of my favorite things in the world. Seeing the look on a friend’s face is what makes the moment so special, and I have to say, there is something to be said for a gift that was hand made. I think both parties involved feel something extra special because of the care and time it took to craft it.
I have always wanted to stay at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. When I think of Lake Geneva, I think of the lavish and prestigious hotel. I mentioned in a previous blog (here), the hotel’s grounds always have the best decorations during the holidays, so I was thrilled for the opportunity to stay. Upon arrival at the resort and spa, you feel cozy and warm. The resort and spa offers 356 guest rooms and is conveniently located for visitors coming from Milwaukee or Chicago. With a private golf course, 20 downhill ski runs, multiple swimming pools, and activities going on daily, you will never be bored at the Grand Geneva!
