Whether you like to celebrate Galentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or don’t partake in either, take the month of February to share happiness with the individuals you love and cherish. Giving gifts is one of my favorite things in the world. Seeing the look on a friend’s face is what makes the moment so special, and I have to say, there is something to be said for a gift that was hand made. I think both parties involved feel something extra special because of the care and time it took to craft it.
I have always wanted to stay at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. When I think of Lake Geneva, I think of the lavish and prestigious hotel. I mentioned in a previous blog (here), the hotel’s grounds always have the best decorations during the holidays, so I was thrilled for the opportunity to stay. Upon arrival at the resort and spa, you feel cozy and warm. The resort and spa offers 356 guest rooms and is conveniently located for visitors coming from Milwaukee or Chicago. With a private golf course, 20 downhill ski runs, multiple swimming pools, and activities going on daily, you will never be bored at the Grand Geneva!

They pair so well together and I feel so fancy consuming both. So, when the opportunity came to partner with Sendik’s for my annual ladies wine party at my home, I knew this theme would be a blast. Deer Widows Weekend is the opening weekend of hunting here in Wisconsin and to me, it’s the perfect opportunity to have a get together with my girlfriends.(more…)

Milwaukee’s newest hotel did NOT disappoint. Saint Kate Arts Hotel is a boutique hotel created by artists for artists.
