Changing seasons can get any fashionista in a tizzy. You go through your closet and think, ‘is that still cool?’, ‘do I need thirteen different sundresses?’ and ‘why did I ever get rid of that jean skirt from high school?!’ But I wanted to write down a few tips I try to keep in mind while switching to warmer weather.
Phew, Monday. Mondays are rough in general, but even worse when you just get back from an almost week long vacation to Mexico. We spend last week in Cancun with perfect weather and amazing company. My husband and I became friends with our neighbors a few years ago and swore we would all go on a trip together. Jamie works for a travel agency and shared an all inclusive resort deal that couldn’t be turned down.
I had the most amazing time this past weekend! My husband’s half brother got married in Woodstock, Illinois. We went down Friday night for the rehearsal dinner and got a sneak peek of the venue. The big event was held at a farm on hundreds of acres of beautiful Midwestern green land. The ceremony was in the beautiful gazebo and we could not have asked for a beautiful day! The Concorde Center included the refurbished barn, a pool house, and a beautiful vintage home that slept 12 people.
Other than the heartwarming ceremony and epic reception, one of my favorite things was my friend’s husband Facetiming me hours before the wedding because he was unsure what to wear! 😀
Here are some pics from the beautiful Treasure wedding!

Wedding season is coming to a close. This year I only had one! I think everyone has that age where you have about 8 weddings in one Summer, that was my case last year. Finding a dress for a wedding can be very hard, a little black dress is always a safe way not matter how casual or conservative a wedding can be.
My understated, but stunning dress is by Oh My Love, which is a fashion brand based out of London with an array of beautiful dresses. I paired mine with a pair of funky heels *rawr*.

Well ladies, it’s that awkward time of year. Do you wear a sundress because it’s still in the 70’s, or in the case of this week 80’s, or do you bust out the plaid because it’s almost Fall? I find it’s easiest to do a little bit of both! You can still play with colors, but start wearing the longer sleeves and pants. I think a lot of us often miss the end of one season anticipating for the next one!
If you know me, I’m a bit pineapple obsessed… even though it was all the rage last Summer, I still love them! I bought this blouse after seeing another blogger wearing it on her Instagram. It’s still available and less than $35!
What are you wearing in these upcoming weeks?
My fun clutch was in my latest Le Tote box. I have written about my Le Tote experience in previous blog posts, but I would highly recommend the clothes rental service! You can receive $25 off your first box by using this code: http://ow.ly/3jFs303Z26Z

Knee length skirts are my go to in Summer! You honestly cannot mess it up! I usually pair mine with a basic top and statement necklace like I did below. I also like to wear midi skirts with crop tops.
This stunning leather handbag was purchased by a local boutique called Buorsajo Boutique. The owner Meg Miroriginals designs and hand makes some of the most beautiful handbags and clutches I have ever seen! My pink clutch is made from crocodile embossed leather cowhide and you can catch me sniffing it at least 5 times every time I use it!
