If there is one thing we have learned over the last few years, it’s to value and support our local businesses! Rather than purchasing an unneeded item, I urge you to consider purchasing from a small family business to help support the community you live in and to have heirloom pieces that will last generations! Some of my favorite pieces of jewelry are my grandmother and my mothers pieces that have been passed down to me. One of the first things to go when I found out I was pregnant was a good quality night’s sleep. On top of the hormones and anxiety, my old mattress was the icing on the cake for lack of much-needed rest. Honestly, throughout my pregnancy, sleep has been hit or miss, which is frustrating when you aren’t feeling well to begin with.
Often called a ‘hidden gem’, Milwaukee is pretty great and I will do all I can to spread the word! Known for beer, cheese, music festivals, and art, Milwaukee, Wisconsin is pretty great! As Milwaukee has been my Instagram playground for years, I wanted to share a few of my favorite places to snap a photo!
Fine jewelry is something you will enjoy and cherish for a lifetime. It’s something that can be passed down to each generation and will almost never lose its value. My favorite jewelry pieces are those that belonged to my mom and grandmother.

I have always wanted to stay at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. When I think of Lake Geneva, I think of the lavish and prestigious hotel. I mentioned in a previous blog (here), the hotel’s grounds always have the best decorations during the holidays, so I was thrilled for the opportunity to stay. Upon arrival at the resort and spa, you feel cozy and warm. The resort and spa offers 356 guest rooms and is conveniently located for visitors coming from Milwaukee or Chicago. With a private golf course, 20 downhill ski runs, multiple swimming pools, and activities going on daily, you will never be bored at the Grand Geneva!

Milwaukee’s newest hotel did NOT disappoint. Saint Kate Arts Hotel is a boutique hotel created by artists for artists. The hotel’s name even gives a nod to Saint Catherine, the patron saint of artists and all that she inspired. The entire hotel feels like a work of art with not one detail missed.
